So I saw this weekend project the other day in a newsletter from Mother Earth News (GREAT newsletters by the way!) on how to make a candleabra from reusing old blue mineral water bottles. It looked stunning! And I didn’t ever know how to do that before - cut glass I mean. How cool is THAT?

You know, in the early days of my pregnancy, I was vintage & thrift shopping alot for my soon to arrive little bundle of drooling & puking joy... but I felt guilty about doing EVERYTHING second hand. So to eswage my guilt, I bought some new stuff... that I now totally regret.

Ok, so I got asked privately what ideas, suggestions and information I had regarding the treatment of yeast infections... I looked up online to see what was around so I could direct them to some pages but there’s really bugger all available!

Another measles outbreak has occurred. Truth be known this "outbreak" has been going on for 2 years. To my mind, this means possibly less of an "outbreak" and more of a resistance issue to the vaccine. Be that as it may, measles is treatable with a variety of simple herbs and home remedies. I find that so long as my child is healthy and robust, they manage illnesses like this fairly well.
