#1: Roasted Nuts and Popcorn
Craving a crunchy snack? This is a good one for on the run.
The protein in nuts will satisfy your hunger and the popcorn will give it a little added dimension.
What we like to do is roast any type of nut lightly on a greased oven tray, sprinkled with some spices.
Try using some spices for extra spunk. Think things like:
- Garlic salt
Thee spices give a unique twist to this everyday favourite crunchy-snack-to-go.
Add some zest to your popcorn too by adding sprinkling on some garlic powder or Parmesan cheese before zapping it in the oven!

Don't reach for ice cream and cake if you want something sweet.
Instead, try making a fruit kebab with a little homemade coconut chocolate syrup drizzled on top.
Our favourites are kiwi, strawberry, and banana kebabs, and you can use honey instead of our syrup.
Homemade Chocolate Coconut Syrup
1 - 2 tbsps coconut oil
1 tbsp agave nectar
1 tsp pure raw cocao powder (or 2 tsps of coccoa)
Soften coconut oil and whip with all other ingredients in blender, food processor, Thermomix or Mix Master. You're aiming for a thick but slightly runny consistency, like honey.
This sauce is super delicious, allergy friendly and very easy to make. Lasts a while in the fridge too (though you may need to soften again before using).

Miniature bocconcini cheese is a great treat with tomato and a little pesto.
Sprinkle with herbs such as chives, basil, and parsley and your taste buds will love you.
This snack gives you some protein and carbs, which will fill you up and give you energy.
