Bicarb is fabulous for all appliances. Gritty but non-abrasive
PictureHomemade cleaners work just as fast you know
All Purpose De-Greaser Spray

½ cup liquid castile soap or mild dishwashing liquid
200mls water
Spray bottle
10 drops Lemon Myrtle or Orange Essential Oils (citrus cuts grease)
5 drops Eucalyptus Essential oil (anti-bacterial)

Combine all ingredients into your spray bottle and shake shake shake – shake shake shake – shake your booty – shake your booty.

Voila! Powerful degreaser – great for soap scum in bathrooms too :-)

PictureThis is great for nitty gritty sticky icky bits
Scrubby Creamy Cleanser

1 cup bicarb soda
1/4 cup pure Sea Salt, grown fine
1/2 cup lemon juice
Little Water
Spray bottle
10 drops Tea Tree Essential oil

Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl until a thick paste consistency. Pour into a squeezy bottle (old shampoo bottles are great) and use in place of Jiff and other gritty cleansers.

Squirt a little onto a damn cloth and get right into the little corners around hot plates and knobs to remove baked on grime that’s been there fustily festering its festiness. Works like a charm!

Cleaning stove tops is about as fun as slamming your head in a sliding glass door. Maybe less fun than that even!

With these eco-friendly natural recipes full of yummy smelling goodies, it will be a whiz – promise. If its not, I’ll come and clean your stove tops for a month… ok I am so not going to do that… but just try these recipes.

They’ll work – you’ll see!

Glass Stove Top Cleaner

1/2 cup bicarb soda
Spray bottle fermented white vinegar or dilute rice vinegar

Spray your stove top with the vinegar and then sprinkle with bicarb soda. Wipe over with one side of a damp cloth (microfiber is best for non-smearing). Use a little elbow grease – get into it ladies! After you’ve removed baked on grossness, then use the other side of the cloth to buff to a high shine.

There! Perfect stove tops all round for everyone! :)

Now, get to it ladies… or just pour yourselves a wine and imagine yourself cleaning. Its almost the same thing  ;-)

Love and cleaning cloths,

Int he first recipe, use warm/hot water. it helps the soap to lyse (break up) the oils better and then blends a lot better too. I discovered this trick when I made my own bum cleaning spray to use with our cloth bum wipes. It uses oil and baby wash/liquid soap. :) The warm water just helps it all to blend faster so even with the booty shaking it means the dinner lady arms don't keep quivvering for quite so long afterwards. ;)

Just wondering with the cream clenser as to how long it lasts once made up? As in, does it go off at all?
