ReÂsearchers have found that ginseng slows carbohydrate absorption; increases cellsâ ability to use glucose; and increases insulin secretion from the pancreas. Supplemental Remedy: Magnesium & / or Chromium
Magnesium deficiency is not uncommon in people with diabetes, and it can worsen high blood sugar and insulin resistance.

When sufficient levels of chromium are present much lower amounts of insulin are required. Chromium supplementation should be done only under the supervision of a holistic diabetic specialist healthcare practitioner.
Suggested Usage: Apply magnesium oil topically via skin or bathe with magnesium salts. You can also take a magnesium supplement twice daily to help control blood sugar levels, manage tension and aid better sleep.
