Without further ado, or further chemical nasties, here is my super quick and easy recipe for an instant, all natural hand sanitiser. It's natural, safe and can be made alcohol free if you prefer.
Eco Mum's Hand Sanitiser
You will need:
50mls liquid castile soap
100mls Witchazel distillate (distilled Witchazel)
2 tablespoons Vegetable Glycerin (great for skin softening)
2 tablespoon Apple Cider vinegar (raw is best)
1 tablespoon pure Aloe Vera gel
10 drops Tea tree essential oil
5 drops Rosemary oil
3 drop Cinnamon oil
2 or 3 perfume sized bottles with pump attachments or squeeze attachments (like sauce bottles, where you can squeeze or pour our liquid)
Check your consistency â do you want a more gel like result or more of a spray?
If you want a more runny consistency or a sprayable result to use with an atomiser or pump spray bottle, add more Witchazel and strain before pouring into your bottles.
When needed, simply spritz or pour a small amount onto your hands and rub into the skin. The aloe gel is wonderfully skin smoothing & hydrating, the Witchazel will tone your pores and tighten the skin, the glycerine will soften and the oils have strong anti-microbial properties providing excellent disinfection against germies.
Your skin will smell fresh and clean and be nicely moisturised, without excessive greasiness.
Easy, natural and so much safer than all the store-bought stuff available nowadays.
Are you a hand sanitiser lover? When do you use it most?
